circa 1800, with double edged 32in. blade engraved with traces of scrolls and arabesques for the first third (some staining), narrow central blind fullers to both sides for the same length, the right signed 'OSBORNS', the left 'WARRANTED', both with further traces of scrollwork, brass heart-shaped boat guard with further pierced heart device and straight reverse tapered quillions, wire-bound bulbous grip, 'D' shaped knuckle-bow and bulbous pommel, traces of gilding to brasswork, no scabbard
